TipTrimmer is the first wet–grinding machine with the ability both to grind and cut tungsten electrodes in the same chamber. Wet grinding produces a polished tip with no blueing, while at the same time the hazardous dust is collected in the fluid and transferred to a replaceable waste container.

No tools are needed for the easy removal of the waste container for its safe disposal. TipTrimmer has been developed to meet all EU directives concerning the grinding of tungsten electrodes.

In TipTrimmer the electrode is ground on the side of the diamond wheel and produces a perfectly straight longitudinal finish without any concavity of the tip. The guide for the electrode holder can be set in three different positions on the diamond wheel and this can triple the lifetime of the wheel.

TipTrimmer is easy to operate and, after setting the required angle and securing the electrode in the holder using the locking device, the electrode can now be either ground or cut in a length as short as 10 mm .

Complies with the Regulations of the EU to ensure complete protection of the welder and the environment against the hazardous grinding dust. Precise longitudinal grinding to eliminate any concavity of the electrode tip.
